![]() RPGMall is a alternative sales channel positioned to promote Indie and Small Press products to the thousands of shopping cusotmers on the RPG Host Network. As such, we offer services to get your product printed in small quantities as well as merchandising options. We also offer wholesale pricing to help you get your products into the local gaming stores around the country. Lastely we offer liquidation services for overstock/damaged merchandise. RPGMall plays four major roles in the sales channel: 1) Fulfillment service. 2) Exposure to a broader market of potential customers. 3) A central place to send retailers to order from. 4) POD & Merchandising services linked directly to fulfillment. As an independent you are probably making your sales only to the people you have personal or Internet contact with. That share of the pie is extremely small. Chances are we are selling to a mostly different customer base and retailers then you are. Not to mention the fact that customers tend to buy more then one item when shopping at our malls. An average order is 3-5 products from 2 or more vendors at RPGShop.com for example. RPGMall will give you greater exposure. Your product will not just get lost in the mix of hundred or thousands of other products. First of all we don't sell that many products and second of all there are a lot of features as a publisher you can use in our online sales software. The current system supports promotion of your product in several ways. First the top half of the front page is a rotating message of the day spotlight for a single product. Each publisher gets to add themselves to this list to promote 1 item at a time from our catalog. Second, there is a rotating button link in the upper right that can promote at random on every page of the site an additional item or your publisher's section on the site. Third, when customers are looking at one product, they'll see a list of things that other people who also liked that product have bought. Thus, similar interest items get some additional exposure. We will be buying a few ads in print magazines geared toward customers as well as one for retailers. Top selling products may even be highlighted in our print ads. We'll also be promoting to the 10,000 active customers of RPGShop.com with a nice banner on that site. Our RPGHost Network which reaches 250,000 unique users a month is also constantly rotating banners for the store. Additionally we pay for click through on most major search engines (covering 75% of the Internet) - if you have a special keyword phrase you'd like us to promote, let us know. RPGMall representatives will be at many conventions including the industry GAMA trade show. We also plan to have tables to promote and sell your products to the public and several of these conventions and you're invited to join us. As an independent you might be having a hard time finding retailers willing to buy a random Indie game from you, an unknown. We are a more established company and will be working with many retailers. Retailers do not want to pay for multiple shipping charges and deal with multiple bills or have to contact multiple from all these individual publishers. Consolidation is the whole point of a distributor and we play that role for you. Worse, do you want to deal with collection of those bills or say "sorry we can't take credit cards"? Our competitivly priced one-stop-shopping POD & merchandising service also makes it simple for you to get your next product on the shelves with a very low upfront cost point. Merchandising helps you look more professional and gives you a little added income on products that actually promote your books. Please check out our Print on Demand (POD) service and our Merchandising service. THE PROCESS: You will earn 60% of the MSRP on all your products. This is much higher than the typical 35-40% you might get through standard channels. You will have total control over your retail and wholesale pricing. Your products are either shipped to us or you can pay have us produce them for you, using our low quanity, high quality services. You only order small quantities (10 on books, 25 on merchandise) as opposed to the typical 1000+ quantities you'd have to run with an offset printer. Simply, we keep 40% of the sale price, no matter who you sell to or at what price. Remember, you set your own price points as well as the wholesaler discounts and any promotional sales. The key to profitablity is going to be your pricing and specifically not under pricing your product. The shoppers at this site are looking for something creative and different... a buck more isn't going to stop them from ordering your product. There are no minimum sales requirements. We will sell anything you want to send us on consignment. We don't have to to be your printer and it doesn't have to be a POD product. We'll take product from other POD printers or existing product from offset-printers. The main goal of this site is to give you, the small publisher, a vehicle to sell your products through since the major distributors are overrun with new products and rarely accept new clients. RPGMall retains staff that activly solicits retailers and attends conventions to promote our store and your products. If you desire to attend a convetion with us, let us know. We also support instant file downloads with your order so you can send your customers a PDF copy of your book while they wait for the printed copy to show up. Payments are made by check or Paypal on the 15th of the following month from the date of the sale, but only if your total sales exceed $25. Full sales reports and customer mailing features are or will be available on the site in real-time. We have a reputation for always paying on time! Vendors have access to great reporting and support features such as: Detailed Sales Reports, Customer Mailings, Customer Sources, Products Manager, Upcoming Products Listing, Registration System, E-mail Sales Notification, Press Release Mailings, Banner/Button Exchange, Remote Catalog, Sales Source Tracking, Sales Coupons, Product Front Page Features, Inventory status and restocking notices, and Other Services. LOGISTICS: We require a contract be signed to protect both parties involved. The sales site will also enforce some minimums on orders: there is a $5 min order total (for a customer), prices under $1 for individual products are frowned upon. GETTING STARTED: To begin selling through us, all you need to do have signed the contract and either give us your POD order or send us some of your product from your own printer. We will warehouse up to 25 copies of new releases and 10 of each older product (warehouse space is limited so don't overstock us). Non Wisconsin sales are still exempt from sales tax as it is an internet sale. Resallers that we work with are required to supply their resale certificate number. You will also need some thumbnails and product description for entering your products online (that's right, you do the data entry). You must have a customer account on RPGMall that will be attached to your vendor record.
LIQUIDATION: We offer publishers a better alternative to the shredder. We'll buy bulk overstocks, damaged/distressed product to liquidate at our store for 75% or more off cover price.
